The January 6 Memory Project is a public archive of Department of Justice news releases and related court filings concerning prosecutions from the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol. The documents were downloaded from the DOJ’s website in early 2025, months before most of them were deleted. This project preserves copies of the deleted documents so the public can continue to access records with lasting legal, civic, and historical value.
